I just want to point out how angry it makes me to witness someone blatantly saying the things he says.

The argument comparing open gays in the military vs the subjugation of religion in American schools is completely invalid. But it doesn’t stop people from believing him…. 

It was religious rhetoric that caused homosexuality in the military to be taboo. That would be the religious rhetoric that was blindly being taught in American schools while people from Perry’s and older generations were being raised. It’s that very hatred we need to snuff out. If that means limiting the influence the Christian church has in public schools in the United States so the younger generations can A) make up their own minds and B) not live in fear if they happen to be gay or muslim or black…

Teach religion at home. Not in public schools. There is no place for Christmas or prayer in PUBLIC schools where children may not be Christian, nor should they be expected to be.
